Who We Are
We are a community of couples from all walks of life who have found friendships and purpose rallying around a common goal. It is a goal of seeing our own marriages healthy and growing strong while being available as friends, confidants and encouragers to others who have the same aspirations.

We fully desire and plan to reach every household possible in this country that is in need of the truth of marriage and the gospel of Jesus Christ. The completion of this work will be when it becomes a norm for the local church to boast of solid and stable marriages that practice Christ-centered friendship and fellowship.

The strategy of the Eye to Eye Marriage Enrichment Community is to provide an environment for couples to build their marriages and be available to strengthen the marriages of others.
It's as easy as 1-2-3: 1-Once a month, 2-Two hours, 3-Every third Saturday.
Our events are purposely limited to being monthly. This gives couples the opportunity to relate to one another, build friendships and seek more growth in their marriages on the basis of their own desire and not obligation. This liberty gives couples time to relate to whomever they may be drawn to by the Lord.
The three key elements of a healthy environment are as follows:
1) Love - couples are called upon to make a personal commitment to build their marriage, which includes being a part of monthly activities with the Eye to Eye community. This guarantees one time a month where both husband and wife will have time set aside solely to invest in their marriage.
2) Truth - the Word of God in practical application reveals the wisdom of God's ways and the folly of popular ways that aren't healthy to a marriage.
3) Relationships - the time together with other couples causes friendship to be born with others who are likeminded in their dedication to the Lord and each other.
The following list introduces the monthly activities:
Sweetheart Semi-formal
Our major event of the year is a Sweetheart semi-formal that is like prom all over again. It is an event open to couples from all walks of life, near to Christ or far from Him. It gives couples the opportunity to taste the glory of redeemed marriages. We let the glory of God's love and service shine so that all who come may see it. The evening includes fun, prizes, romance, intimate conversation between spouses, sweet memories and a rekindling of affection.
The Walk Together Series
This is a six-session, interactive Bible study that lays out the principles of marriage as found in Genesis 2 and Ephesians 5 with direct application made easy. The principles of the relationship of a husband and wife being a direct reflection of the relationship of Christ and the church make the pattern of marriage clear. The study encourages participation and causes couples to comprehend the truth in plainness and relevance. It also gives a practical lesson on the sensitive issue of finances, a great cause of many divorces.
The Talk Together Series (Newly added in 2006)
This series emphasizes the practical and deeper issues that allow successful communication between husbands and wives.
Summer Barbecue
This event gives everyone the opportunity to meet each other's children and to invite other couples that would benefit from the Eye to Eye community. We enjoy outdoor fun for children and parents, good barbecue and our skit-game "Happily Ever After".
Weekend Getaway
This event grants couples the opportunity to get some time away and go to another level in their walks with God, one another and their friends in the Eye to Eye family.
Reflection Meeting
Our year concludes with a review of the six topics covered in the Walk Together series, by way of testimonies from the couples who declare how they applied the truths and how the Word brought benefit to their marriage. This is one of the greatest meetings as we hear the wonderful ways that the couples' lives have been transformed.
Each of these elements of the monthly Eye to Eye activities comprise a wholesome environment that has proven to be very fruitful to every couple that is a part of the community.

We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.
We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God.
We believe that God is the creator of marriage between one man and one woman.
We believe that strong marriages are a part of the witness of the resurrection of Christ that must be restored to the church in order to help the world to see the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We believe that strong marriages in a local church will strengthen the ability of their church to fulfill the Great Commission.
We believe that an active commitment to a local assembly is a responsibility of all Christians.
